Why would mermaids need to learn to play the kazoo? They already have great singing voices (voices so heavenly, they can cause shipwrecks).

I think I’m jealous of the great places these kids get to play in/on/ around.

What is the function of the pilings and rail? Did there use to be a pier attached to them? Are they used to moor craft to?

Can they? Can they, you know, exhale? Do they breathe air? Do kazoos work underwater? I have so many questions…yet I am somehow certain that Wallace would have breezy, confident answers for all of them.
