“Throwing around the word liar is a nasty habit that you and others should get out of the habit of”
I looked on both days and couldn’t find anyone throwing about the word ‘liar’. I saw bcs say that you were spreading lies, but that doesn’t make you a liar. It makes you ill-informed if you parrot those lies.
If you KNOWINGLY speak things that are untrue, you are a liar.
If you UNKNOWINGLY speak things that are untrue, you are spreading lies.
There’s the difference, but I do thank you for your candor. It’s refreshing. I’ve been wrong on ocassion, too. :-)
churchillwasright, apology accepted, of course. What’s most important to me is that the discourse we try to have with others be based on the facts available. What I’ve learned to do is backtrack to the source whenever I hear/read something that proves to be not factual. Then I know for the future to never assume that source is correct and to verify what I hear/read from that source.
and daniels is correct, I did not call you a liar. I did correctly point out that your repeated posts were spreading lies by saying there was no tax cut passed.
Again, thanks for acknowledging the error.
‘666 guy’, Bush violated the constitution, which is why Congress passed a retroactive law giving violators immunity from prosecution, so unfortunately they can’t be charged with treason
You do remember the courts found Bush violated the Constitution with illegal wiretapping of U.S. citizens?

lying: “a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth”
You’ll note that no one claimed that you were lying.
And you might think the tax cut is too small, but it’s LARGER than McCain’s plan was.

(What’s funny here is the comment on page 27 where it says that McCain’s planned debt would’ve been significantly LARGER than Obama’s planned debt)
