As more reasonable people keep pointing out, Manchin isn’t the problem. The PROBLEM is that 50% of the Senate is utterly opposed to any law which doesn’t get THEM toward THEIR goals. Switch two of the other party for reasonable people and Manchin would go back to his well deserved obscurity.
somebody clobber some sense into Joe Manchin but first we’ve got to find the glass chin he came in with and knock it askew and asunder. It ain’t for nothing that John Brown gave up his earthly body in West Virginny. He bled all over Kansas first then brokered a new state by which he stole from Virginia. Manchin be haunted by the father of our country who forever roams the Appalachians in search for a worthy man to steal it back. and it weren’t for nothing that Bobby Lee saw Johnny Brown wrung the life out of him; Twas at Harpers Ferry that which is the opening credits for Gone With The Gin while Miss Scarlett was gobbling up all the carrots before The War even started thus making her an infamous wrench if only in the pipes of the organ.
There were some other resolutions in 2021 that were accomplished. 1. Take oath of office. 2. Keep oath. 3. Sign Infrastructure Bill. 4. Undo a bunch of crap. The list is much longer than this.
Joe Manchin can be bought. That’s pretty obvious from what he takes from Koch, and the fossil fuel corporations. Give him a billion dollars to distribute among his W VA constituents (yeah, right) to vote with the Democratic senators.
