According to the Geico commercial, Fred made enough money to pay for the rock necklace. I remember an episode that Wilma had the necklace when they first met.

Everybody is forgetting that Wilma is waaaay too pretty for Fred. He should just be grateful that he has her and he should hold onto her like grim death.

I don’t care how good looking Wilma is, she’s wa-a-a-aaay too high maintenance. I remember the time they thought they weren’t really married and she made him “woo” her again. And her mother! Yeeesh.
Fred should have fled.
