Now that’s what I’d call a pupil paying attention to what the teacher says and following the teacher’s instructions. Literally.
I love Sluggo’s bleary eyed look. OJ is so good at drawing nuance out of the simple style.
It took me a moment to get it. At first, I wondered whether Sluggo was still behind the books or whether he had put his clothes on something behind the books. Then I noticed the gap between the two books in the last panel.
Wish I’d thought of that in school. I mean, it wouldn’t have worked for long, but every bit of eye rest and sleep helps.
