Not to be merely disagreeable, I will just point out that those are our anti-trust laws, and the people who aren’t enforcing them are subject to the direction of our elected officials. Who, all too often are for sale to the highest (discrete) bidder.
Here’s another item on the Amazon wish list – they’re turning on Alexa and other devices when they deliver in your area, and not just for the delivery address.
Under the guise of better deliveries and neighborhood security they are monitoring without your consent more and more, and turning over data to others.

This is not new. Comcast was using my internet as an open hotspot with a default setting until I read about their practice and ended it pronto. Always read the fine print.
In “Demolition Man”, every restaurant was Taco Bell. That was before Bezos and Amazon came along. Looks like in the future, every business will be Amazon.
Surveillance? Alexa and her sisters are listening, the cops may be accessing my Ring camera (if I had one), traffic cameras are tracking my movements, retail sales are charting what I buy, and when. Sheesh!
If you want to buy from an online vendor, consider using a gift card from target. It eliminates the risk of dealing with small businesses and having your card numbers stolen. Happened to me. Costs a little more. Never use a bank account debit card for any purchase, unless it can’t be avoided. Things you learn the hard way.
