I’m convinced that the reason Google seems to have won the search engine battle is because the word Google can be used as a verb….Yahoo-ing something just doesn’t sound right….

Baslim- my spousal unit is a librarian in a small town- folks still expect them to know the answer to all questions! They’re happy to help, at least to point out appropriate reference materials. Now, if we could just get those phone “support” computers to give us an optional number to push to actually get a response to our REAL question!! Google works pretty well, but “push one for Spanish- push yourself off the building ledge if you expect to get an actual human to answer your question.” is the norm for “telephone support”.

Everything I use is Google-I have gmail, Google’s Picasa Web Albums, use Google maps, I’m planning to buy Google’s version of the ipad, etc.
