Eight months? That’s long enough to grow a big beard!

Puts me in mind of an old “Peanuts” when a character (Charlie Brown? Linus? I don’t recall…) explains that he draws people with their hands behind their backs because he “can’t draw hands.”

The artist will avoid drawing the comic all together. Introducing “Nancy : The Podcast”, thereby avoiding creating the published comic strip.

The fourth wall is the greatest casuality in comics.

I remember an anime take-off a few years back where the “base” is in an uproar because they’ve exceeded the animation budget, so no more lip-sync. Characters talk behind their hands, turn away, read from papers an inch away, and so on. A shot of mass panic shows hordes of people on the run while loudspeakers warn “DO NOT LOOK AT THE CAMERA! DO NOT LOOK AT THE CAMERA!”

Wonder what happens in eight months?
