You can take online spelling courses.

Used dictionaries are in any local thrift store, Goodwill, and Salvation Army stores. Buy one. Learn how to use one. Same with folding paper maps. Neither require batteries.

Dunno spelling? Just Ask Google.

3. Buy an erasable pen.

Should have been: Learn to spell.

More cures and less patients.

Great idea! I resolve to be more too!

Those who can never be patient soon find that they are a patient.

For a dyslexic it is so frustrating and can make one feel like a fool: On something they had no control over (the abilities and disabilities we are born with). I have gotten better but I still get stumped and yes spell check has been a blessing.

But we don’t need to learn to spell anymore because Spellchecker does it for us. It will even correct our corrections. Of course, Spellchecker has a low sense of humor. . . sending rude emails to the boss seems to be its idea of fun. So we do have to triple-check. But, soon we will only be communicating with emojis and phonetic abbreviations anyway. Who needs actual words to communicate? The other person is sure to catch our drift. /s

And resourceful! All he needs to do is get out the dictionary. With “pat-” he’s got enough to look up the rest. Use the online or on-phone dictionary.

I used a thesaurus for spelling with a word index in the back, that way I would not get distracted by the definitions, etc
