Wonderful….many predictions that cats would have warm fuzzy blanket and pizza party and Pajama party! Naturally Lupin found the old pizza and girlie Goldie is up for fortune telling. So many details make it Wunderba ( spelling goof)…. but you know what I mean.

Good idea, Goldie! I’ll go first. For Lupin, I predict…indigestion!

My mom’s cats loved when I visited, because I would order a pizza and they would get some crusts. So much so that Mom got some dough from the pizza place and would bake crusts for them. They would bat them across the floor, hunt them down, and kill them, and feast on the corpses. Yaaaaaah!

Do they have PURR-mission slips?

Gonna need that blanket to be cleaned and burned!

Kind of off topic, but multiple news sources are reporting that Elvis has lost his apparent news media role model earlier this morning. Larry King passed away from COVID or COVID related complications (depending on the source). Keep the flame alive Elvis.

In all fairness to their family’s housecleaning skills, that is probably “old pizza” from today’s cocooning.

PIZZA TREASURE!!!

SHHHHHHH! Elvis is sleeping.

Back in the day she who shall not be named had the coolest cat in the world. Blizzard, known as “Bibber” was a wise and wily pure white blue eyed short hair (not deaf). He learned the ways of pizza early on.

Seated in the living room watching TV. Pizza on the coffee table. You reach for the slice and as you start aiming at your maw a pair of white arms flash out and wrap around your wrist. Suddenly 16 pounds of voracious beast is dragging your arm down. You reflexively unclasp and the slice hit the floor.

Bibber releases your arm and does a little thing I can only describe as the “pizza dance”. A (very) brief celebration followed by a full Garfield lasagna body slam onto the pizza. The slice is no longer eligible for the 5 second rule and the victorious monster is allowed at to feast on the cheesy corpse of his victim. Briefly.

As the deceased slice is retrieved for a proper burial, the mighty monster licks sauce off his chops and glares at you. You may be bigger, but you ain’t faster. You WILL be defeated again. And again.

They are predator/scavengers doing their job.

My cat sampled a piece of pepperoni from my pizza last night. I had the feeling she only ate it because I offered it to her. She did not request any more. Probably too spicy.

I’m surprised the robber mice didn’t find that slice of pizza before Lupin got to it. Georgia, where are the girls? Are they safe? Are they warm?
