Spud, your heart works the hardest, your masseter (jaw) has the greatest force, and without your gluteus (min and max) and soleus, you can’t support your weigh to stand up!
I’ve been noticing that WH has a pallet of colour for the backgrounds that changes with seasons. Right now, we are in warm browns and golds for autumn.
Another thing I like. That is the way the commenters here talk about what they enjoy in these offerings, what questions they have, what thoughts occur. Then, thoughtful answers follow.
The discussion today about the layout of the full landscape panel with the figures moving through so that different spaces and moments are all presented as one thing.
The helpful comments about the colors changing with the seasons.I see things I wouldn’t have seen because people here point them out.
I’m thinking about walking in nature… or even in a museum… and back and forth conversation that enriches the experience. Solitary walks are good too, have their own value. But this is something special.
Thanks for all these comments! I almost missed the point today, because I read over “in” your chest. After reading several comments, I went back and read it again. “In your chest” – the heart!
Will Henry – another brilliant strip. One would expect Wallace to be doing the dreaming in this case – but in a way, Spud doing this dreaming is more realistic – and the result is philosophy! From Wallace! So good I had to join just to comment on this strip. BTW – when I was their age – I loved playing with milkweed in just this way! I am surprised that someone as young as you, Will Henry, has known that pleasure! And to all who try to grow milkweed – good luck! I hope you are successful, but milkweed does not like domestication! (Unlike dandelions, who thrive on just the sort of “blow the seeds to the wind” we used to play at, with both!)

That muscle, if properly shepherded, can beat on the order of three billion times.
And, metaphorically, if kept properly oriented and in the right place, it can guide its caretaker throughout that three billion beats of life.
I love imagining who helped Wallace to this understanding, and how they did it during these wonderfully receptive years of childhood.
His vital muscle is pre-blessed. His friends and family are fortunate.

Will Henry’s backgrounds are amazing! I love this 3-panel strip without borders between the panels…

Ah Spud – being jacked takes enough work to be a lifestyle, even if you were cool, you might not be the person you think.
