Silly schools. Making you make useless things like a diorama. They shoulda given a useful project like goofing off from school and doing environmental activism or something.

Conniption Queen is my favorite Billy Ocean song. I know Connie, the song is really Caribbean Queen. Its a joke, don’t have a conniption.

The way he continues to stall on getting started, I predict an “F” in his future. :D

Our priorities tend to be linked to our sense of need. The trick it to make people need what we want when we want it for whatever we can afford.

There are all sorts of concepts of time. The Spanish have one, native Americans have another so saying Western in the manner you did is derogatory. What is on time depends on each culture. It also depends what device you use to keep it with

Ah but Calvin, a true master of procrastination can throw something together at the last minute. It usually is rough and only gets a C- at best. But at least it doesn’t get downgraded by a whole letter for being late.

IMHO punctuality is simply good manners.

He’s right. They don’t call it a “live or die-orama”.

Sometimes my mom can be a Conniption Queen, too. But at least I never procrastinated on such assignments like that (as I got older, I think by the time I was in high school, I even liked to get such assignments done WAY early, sometimes completing them a week before the due date!)

The only thing about Calvin of which I am quite sure is that the odds are that I will never be even reasonably sure that I correctly understand what his “real” intentions are. I am not even sure that he has “real” intentions except quite briefly.
