Bandit and Paisley need to be checking the foundation! Old buildings sometimes have basement walls made of stacked field stones. Cats have an amazing ability to flatten and squeeze through small openings.
And while I’m not watching this, I’ll take a moment to point out that, although 31 October brings ghosts, vampires, witches, The Mailman, werewolves, and other denizens of The Other World, we here in Queensland face an even greater horror.
It is our State Election, in which we have to decide which combination of crooks, idiots, incompetents, and crazies will form the next state government.
Oh boy. This situation is so precarious. Whoops. Didn’t mean to rhyme mysef. I gotta be more precautious. Whoops. Sorry about that, I hope I wasn’t too obnoxious. Okay, okay, I stop now. Don’t be so furious.
Wombat Day: Here’s a question for Robin: Wombats are known for their urge to burrow. Are they also, like everything else in Australia, deadly?
National Nut Day: Some days we feel like a nut, and some days we are one … or more …
National Knee Day: Don’t knock your knees, they get enough abuse, and sooner or later they’ll give it back.
National Color Day: Not only do we have excellent color vision, different colors have surprising effects on our bodies and our minds. While some of this is cultural, or culturally reinforced, some of it appears to be completely biological. Once again, we turn out to be stranger than we can imagine.
Eat a Pretzel Day: Just one? Ha! These things are more addictive than toebeans.
Good progress but slower than we hoped. The medication seems to be working. Clark’s bladder is much closer to normal size. His blood panels have dropped 1/3 out of the abnormal high range and are approaching normal. It appears that his own muscle action is now causing his bladder to empty.
He will remain on IV fluids and catheterized until tomorrow AM. Catheter will be removed and they will monitor to make sure he can urinate without assistance. Possibly home tomorrow night but they might go for one more night of monitoring and cut him loose on Saturday.
A rhyming cat, How odd is that, So set in your evil way,Going about it from day to day, Got to make sure the innocent pay,Oooh, you’re really a rotten rhyming cat.
Someone’s probably already said it, but I like the diamond marking. It looks like the tattoo used in Dune to indicate a doctor has been conditioned not to betray his lord.
I don’t know why, but I read that in Gomez Addam’s voice. Which is even weirder because if I had to pick a TV married couple that was a ‘role model’ for me – it was Morticia and Gomez.
Remember that Bewitched episode when Samantha kept rhyming? It’s a little known fact that that spell is indestructible, and often infects people just when they are trying to be really really serious.

Umm, when the only one with a key to the prison doors is quickly going mad, that’s not something to grin about.
Not that I’m paying any attention, that’s just a general rule of life.

You’ve got to change your evil ways, Mittens
Before we start likin’ you
You’ve got to change, Doctor
And every word that we say is true
So stop your dreamin’ and schemin’ in your lab coat
And your freakin’ and sneakin’ and gettin’ our goat
This can’t go on, Cat knows you got to change, baby
Let Bandit go, Mittens
Your thoughts are dark and your eyes are cold
You’re bein’ mean, Doctor
With Bandit and Paisley and-a who knows who
We’re gettin’ tired of your rhymin’ and foolin’ around
We need somekitty who doesn’t act all evil & sh*tty
This can’t go on, Cat knows you got to change, Mitty
