He drank himself batty.

Since the start of the Quarantine… there has been a spike in alcohol consumption! The screaming comments when it was suggested to drink only ONE glass/can/bottle a day. When this quarantine is cleared out of the way… there is going to be quite a few people who will struggle to not drink so much! Hey! All you who wanted to start up your own company… may I suggest Alcohol Treatment Clinic!?!?!

First time I remember seeing the apteryx and dookie bird together in the same strip.

Finally, the answer to what killed the Apteryx.

Did anybody else notice that he is on the same side of the branch in all three panels? We get a change of the view when the other bird comes into the picture. How do I know? There’s a “bark collar” where the branch meets the trunk (shown by little curved lines at the upper side of the branch.) I saw it when John mentioned the bird’s feet.

Bars have to serve food to reopen here…

I only have a glass of wine with dinner so far today I had 6 dinners.
