I am developing a new hobby. When Go Comics has its functions fail enough that a given strip does not appear, as this one and Calvin and Hobbes have so far done for me today, I try to figure out the content from people’s comments. You folks did a good job on that score.

That is why you don’t tell the kids that you are going to Disney World/Land untill the day you leave.

Kids get excited over everything and are so good at expressing it until adults teach them otherwise.

I’ve taken two train trips from California to Minnesota to visit my grandmother. Once when I was eight, the other when I was ten.

I actually did travel to Vancouver on the train when I was a kid (1964) It was awesome – especially going through the Rocky Mountains!
