Rall has lost it. He’s, imo, delusional in that he apparently thinks there’s a way to get a presidential candidate who can beat Trump and isn’t Biden. It’s kind of sad. I’m pretty sure that most of us who follow him feel as I do.

The time for opposing Joe Biden’s candidacy was during the primaries, it’s time to stop beating this dead horse. It is hoped that his election will herald an influx of Democrats into Congress and allow long stalled legislation benefitting all rather than the few to be passed. Non-Rethuglicon judges can be nominated for federal judgeships. Why, Ruth Bader Ginsburg will be able to retire.

Biden may turn out to be one of our worst Presidents, if trump is reelected he will be out last President. If given a choice between a C- and a F you take the C-.

What’s the point anymore? Why don’t you just depict Biden in diapers and drooling? In fact, why don’t you just man up and tell us why you want Trump to win? Without hearing it from you, we are forced to speculate. I think you want Trump to win because you are pleased with civil strife and hope it will lead to a new order or system.

It’s pathetic that so many commenters treat any comic about Biden as support for Trump. I’m just glad to have an excuse for laughing at the situation. Unfortunately, Biden vs Trump is a lot like the humor in Catch-22; The humor eventually transforms to horror.

The fact that you are not actually looking at or listening to Biden does not mean he is invisible. He’s already made a number of stands, Ted, putting forward a number of significantly different and progressive proposals, e.g., the child-care idea.

Why doesn’t Rall just come out of the closet for Trump?

Rall, have you missed the multiple crises we are facing, primarily as a result of the McConnell-controlled Republican party? Maybe you are OK with the country being run on an anti-science basis, but I’m not. Maybe you are OK with federal law enforcement being used against US citizens exercising their first amendment rights, but I’m not. Maybe you don’t think that environmental degradation has reached a critical stage, but I can see it around me every day. Why don’t you put your efforts into going after the real existential problems, rather than the minutiae of the political forms of the US?

We can see and hear trump, and it isn’t pretty.

Whine all you want about Sanders not heading the ticket. The Progressives and Bernie Bros didn’t vote enough during the primaries to maintain Sanders’ early lead. STFU, hold your nose, and vote Biden.

Fact. The man has a resume of leadership and working with Congress. For all his other flaws, there is no comparison with Trump. We’re NEVER going to get the best man (or woman) for the job because Americans are never going to agree on “best”. :)

Rall must not be seeing the political ads that Biden runs where I live – where he offers a much more calm and planning and inclusive future than what Trump shows in his ads…

I give up with the folk that think that not supporting Biden does not help 45. I give up on folk think that Biden will be a poor president and who disparage Obama’s presidency. I’m exhausted with the people that think that if someone doesn’t pursue with what they want, when they want it and damn to hell anyone who isn’t in absolute congruence. Change that endures comes by successive approximations. Maybe I’ll check in at some future time to see if this is still the home of bigotry and intolerance.

It’s quite simple:

Trump is happy with hundreds of thousands of (mostly Black and brown) people dying in a pandemic, because he thinks that will help him get re-elected.

Rall is happy with hundreds of thousands of (mostly Black and brown) people dying in a pandemic and his long-idolized “revolution,” because he thinks it will get the USA a government he likes better. (And revolutions always work out exactly the way middle-aged leftists want them to, as history has shown repeatedly.)

The rest of us need to stop listening to people happy with hundreds of thousands of deaths.

One thing I find amusing in a not amusing way is that Ted tees up on how old and/or irrelevant Joe is. At the same time Ted is more and more sounding like that crazy neighbor who sits on his porch yelling “hey! Get off of my lawn” to the neighborhood kids.

The only thing from here is if Biden wins, Ted will devolve into that Scooby Doo character that says, “I’d have gotten away with it if it weren’t for you nosey kids!”

The GOP is airing political ads that show Nancy Pelosi on the Capital Steps, wheeling out a gurney with a fake dummy on it that looks like Biden.

Yes Ted a ranting raving self-declared socialist would be a much better candidate.

You should take the next three months off

Please tell me that somewhere among the members of the Repulsican Crime Cult resides someone with at least a flickering brain cell on life support, but I wouldn’t count on it. Any lie hs a stellar chance of becoming gospel among the alleged evangelical faction of the party of god, sorta.

20,000 Trump lies = Fake News

Two meta-points:

1) Political cartoonists make commentary on political figures. Biden is running for President; it’s totally valid for Rall (or anyone) to criticize him. This is a rough game, and the hits are hard.

So I don’t think “Rall needs to fall in line with Demo platform” is a valid thing to say.

2) We CAN and SHOULD take note of what any cartoonist focuses on, and where he seems to be getting those talking points from. Rall is on the far left, but he spends an inordinate amount of time attacking people relatively close to him (politically) and echoes criticisms that come from the far right and from Russian propaganda.

This is worrying and annoying, because Rall is really cutting when he’s thinking for himself and not amplifying Trump’s “I’m rubber, you’re glue” act.

I strongly recommend that right wing and republican supporters Not use masks and social distancing. (A good way to reduce trumpy votes.)
