    this 21st century lad would not know the likes of these stars of yesteryear………. it COULD have been sluggers Sosa, Bonds ,McGwire and Rodriguiez but there was that pesky performance enhancing drug thing ….. no baseball stars of today to identify with?

    I’m of an age where I watched those guys every week on “The Game of the Week” and “Gillete Cavalcade of Sports”. Ah, yes … Dizzy Dean singin’ the Wabash Cannonball … and his sidekick PeeWee Reese. I had a genuine imatation Nellie Fox fielder’s mitt. Wish I still had those six cigar boxes of baseball cards. Don’t even get me started on my comic books …

    I like the way he mimics each player’s stance. If you were around back then you can almost recognize them by the way they stood at the plate.
