And according to the Tea-Party, what this country needs is MORE of what created this situation in the first place.

When you see Mommy government doing everything for the parental favorites - the big bank bailout barons and hedge-fund babies - and allowing them to take ALL the economic growth for decades, and destroy the chances of the rest for any upward mobility, as well as the future of their children - and when you see them not only get away with crime, but rewarded for it more than ever - well, envy is not the primary feeling.

fact : taxing the rich at 100% of their income would not cover thedeficit

the solution is reduced spending….we need to clean house both dems and pepubs

putting them in time-out might refocus them

enter the tea party is our only hope….join and you can contribute to the direction

I DO wish they could do something about all this flotsam; it’s starting to stain the sides of our vessel when we cruise through it. damned nuisance , I say!

Fact: we went from reducing the deficit to magnifying it by reducing taxes on the rich when fighting a war. Let’s not be stupid here, shall we?

Remember, there was a four year surplus (1998-2001). Bush instigated two wars and cut taxes. Voila - the worst budget deficit ever. When you are the first president to cut taxes while waging a war, this happens. As for the gap between the rich and the rest of us, we have exceed the gap Argentina had back when it was a banana republic. Guess where we are heading?

danz…wrong symbol….ocean would mean a free enterprise private economy….. the Dems/Obama believe you solve “unemployment” and create a “rising tide” by expanding jobs in government http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704050204576219073867182108.html# so that the US Government-controlled-economy is now using taxpayer revenues and borrowed finances to take private PRODUCERS into the minority that pays the taxes to support government jobs.

better symbol would be the ship atop a lake of recycled government water-cooler waters….

I just can’t decide to wage war continually or to balance the budget.

Wisconsin just successfully recalled one of their senators. The wrath of the dispossessed is a wonderful thing.

Oh Goofy: I just remembered. WTF????????????????

Or would you prefer to be called SUPER-GOOFY?

BTW: The real Goofy, as opposed to you, may be a little silly, but he’s real nice guy.

At least they haven’t rented that “skimmer” ship that couldn’t do the job for BP in the Gulf with liquids, that might get the solids, well, yet.

The problem is most people don’t realize that they are the poor and that they will never be rich and that the money they earn (or have been cheated out of) is being given to to rich.

Junior’s tax cuts have neither built boats nor effected tides, unless possibly downward. The increase that got his pappy thrown out was probably about right, if we could close some loopholes. Neocons are just pumping hot air into the balloons.
