Gotta love the placement of Staton & Curtis’s names.

(later: A photo with a blue back? I thought Sam was holding another DVD.)

margueritem, the glasses look like my old pair, only a bit thinner.

I disagree, I definitely see some of a resemblance.

I hope Locher is taking notice. TMS is getting their money’s worth now. Before, they were getting soaked and we were getting insulted. Great artwork! That last shot of Sam says it all!

It’s nice to see Sam looking like Sam again. All we need now is for him to get back to his rye sandwiches. Ah, the good old days!

Sam’s got his eye on a used copy of “Ghostbusters”!

Actually, the DVD Sam is eyeing should be GHOSTBUSTERS 3. It’s a real illegal DVD, and is a fan film sold overseas.

Yep! I placed a mail order at the Chinese Wal-Mart for some of the yummy food they have.

Tracy does a Lazarus! To see the makings of an incarnation worthy of Gould is as gratifying as it is unexpected. A pig on wheels just flew by.

Hey, here’s your Dick Tracy news tidbits for today.

Look for Junior soon in this adventure.

Sam gets some great face time in the next story. In fact he even gets to say Oy!

It’s been announced elsewhere, but we might as well say it here too. This Holiday season, Tracy and company will be spending Hannukah at the Catchems.

Thanks again for the nice comments and even the not so nice ones. I feel we have the perfect team assembled to bring to life the adventures of Dick Tracy.

I think I’m familiar with the real life “Barney Dhatkham.” Every year I see him running a table in the dealer’s room down at the San Diego Comic Con. Though to me he looks more like Fred than Barney.

So cool to see him here!

You know, the guy who played Sam in the Warren Beatty movie sounds as if he could be a Gould character himself: “Seymour Cassel, the tour guide from Jolly Old England.

I thought Alley Oop was reprints, if was still even being published. And I have notice Mark Trail is still around, though I don’t read it. But the Locher bashing’s gotten old, Yes I’m just as guilty of it as anyone else. But being a regular I expect that the negativity amongst us would start dying off. Sure new people will still do it, but the rest of us who’ve subscribed to this website and this strip for years. Well, It’s time to let it go, remember Locher was doing D.T. and keeping him alive for the last 10 to 15 years. So we have to show him respect. And that magnificent statue is based on his design too.

APOI is right about Alley Oop and Mark Trail, two of my favorites since childhood. The current team of Bender and Bender who does Alley Oop are to be congratulated for taking on the task after the unexpected death of Dave Graue, but they just aren’t coming up to his standards, I’m sorry to say.
