Leave it to Mother Nature to spoil Garfield’s good mood.

I see 2 possibilities for the next panel:

1) Garfield goes in the house, sees Odie panting and says, “No, thanks. Got it covered.”

2) Garfield goes in the house, walks by Jon and shakes off all the rain, soaking Jon.

That was a quick wash!

and hummingbirds to chase as well as others. Cheer up Garfield, there be good things waiting for you.

Ah yes! Spring!!! Yesterday afternoon was delightful. 60 degrees or so and a beautiful, bright blue sky. We awake this morning to an inch and a half of snow on the grass!!

Yesterday the sun was shining, the birds singing, the flowers blooming, the warm gentle breeze lifting the skirts of Trinity undergrads, and for the first time in six months, the damned bus was on time. I have to have a talk with Mother Nature or the transit authority.

April showers? In March?

Isn’t it amazing how certain strips can mimic our lives?! This is exactly what is going on here in Easton, Maryland; beautiful when I went to bed POURING rain when I wake up.

I prefer fall. Of course, living in LA, fall, winter, and spring are short and highly coveted. The highs are already in the upper 80’s here! But I guess I must love it or I would have left by now.

Spring has sprung…a leak.
