Okay, can anybody tell me when the last time a group of Jews got together and committed terrorism in the USA? How about the Evangelical Christian community? Hmmmm - I think it has been Muslim each time, don’t you? We have to stop being politically correct and go after the offenders. Come on American Muslims - speak out against the terrorists, why don’t you. Don’t speak out against people who are trying to find out why there are so many radical Muslims, speak out against the radical Muslims. And if you don’t, then what are we meant to assume from that non response?

Sigh. Virtually every religion has exhortations to kill the infidel. There were even words put into Jesus’ mouth (according to current research) like “I come not to bring peace but a sword.”
If you really read your Old Testament, you will find that the Chosen People took the Promised Land by exterminating every single man, woman, and child in the country.
Since Christ, there have been moments like the Crusades, of course, not to mention the infamous Arnaud-Armaury, the Abbot of Citeaux, who when asked how to deal with heretics said “Kill them all. God will know His own.”
That leaves out more recent efforts to turn THIS war with Iraq into a “crusade” (Remember the quote from George W. Bush?).
Do I think some religions are better or worse than others? Sure. I find the Aztec religion horrific. Do I think some people are better or worse than others? Of course. Do I think we can tar ALL members of a religion with the same brush? Absolutely not.
