    This seems a an old bit in general, but the twist on the concept is slick.

    The problem is when having to perform surgery on King Kong, that little scalpel won’t be very useful.

    Interesting.

    Doesn’t matter though since neither of them are actually targeting the real problem and are making merely ideological attacks / defenses of a petite 12% of the budget.

    With interest on savings near zero, anyone bother to ask what PERCENTAGE RATE the feds are giving out to those foreign lenders, and big banks etc here at home? As folks renegotiate their home loans, what’s going on in the bigger market?

    Cutting SS is ignoring the fact that currently that entitlement is actually being funded enough to pay for it.
