Local doughnut shop opened but their cream insertion machine wouldn’t work. They had an idea, they cut the doughnuts in half and slathered on the cream filling instead. It became really popular locally. They’ve been doing it that way ever since.
There’s no place called just “Ski Valley.” It’s actually Taos Ski Valley. I’ve been many times, but this is the first I’ve heard of the Tree Martinis. I’ll have to look next time!
