Looks like my cat. She managed to push me out of the bed while I was sleeping.

Luddy has worked out a good bed spread.

Cats prefer to have their beds warmed so the humans can stay.

Janis could move Arlo if she wanted to.

Easier to go to the spare bedroom after being roused from a good sleep than arguing.

I swear Jimmy has surveillance cameras in every room of my house. If it’s not that, then he is a brilliant observer of human interactions; he notices the small things which fill our lives.

I’m going for Jimmy being brilliant!

There’s a time when it’s much better to use proper names instead of pronouns.

Be careful what you ask for…

We had a deaf, half blind albino sheltie we took as a rescue. Slept at the foot of my bed while I was recovering from a spinal injury. When I got up Max took my place and laid like that.

Why? I loved when my pet would lay on me when I was sleeping.

If you are not a Cat Person, you cannot understand.

It’s a good thing Arlo and Ludwig weren’t standing by the door and Janis said: “Why don’t you put him out for the night?”

TA-DA!

And Luddy says, “Where’s my heating pad?”

That is actually how my cat Caramel sleeps, except she faces me, and likes to stroke my arm as she falls asleep.

The punchline here for me is Janis eyes in panel 4. “Wha, you understood what I said?”

Yep, that’s how “owning” a cat works.

My father loved having the cats sitting on his lap when he was awake or sleeping on the sofa. He was very insistent that the cats did NOT sit on him when he was sleeping in bed.

I never told Dad that the cats just waited until he was sleeping and hopped up anyway.
