Patty approaches Charlie Brown sitting in the sandbox playing with his toys. She asks,"Have you met Schroeder yet, Charlie Brown?"<BR><BR> As he walks off behind her, Charlie Brown asks,"Schroeder?! Who's he?" She replies,"He lives next door....c'mon, I'll introduce you"<BR><BR> She points to a baby sitting on the floor and says,"Here he is! Say something to him" Charlie Brown replies,"I don't know what to say..."<BR><BR> As Schroeder smiles up at him, he turns to Patty and concludes,"I always feel so uncomfortable near children!"<BR><BR>

If Schroeder is a child, than Charlie Brown must be a… Never mind.Anyway, this is the first appearance of Schroeder. He was originally used for baby gags. He later evolved into a piano-playing prodigy. Yes, he did start playing a toy piano when he was still a baby. Somehow, he later became Charlie Brown’s age. It was not uncommon for “Peanuts” characters to rapidly age so they could fit in with the rest of the cast.

If Schroeder is a baby in here and CB is 4 then how does he end up being the same age as him in the future? Does everyone have different aging paces? If so that would explain a lot even though it doesnt make much sense
