It’s fascinating & disappointing that a cheater & a liar has any credible weight with his opinions about anything. He should have just gone away for his transgressions (Bonds), but instead he has platforms on more than one national network. Madness.

Not only is it a reprehensible that he is given such a platform, it is a greater shame that he is so bad at the job he tries to perform!

You are not forgiven, A-Roid, and I never listen to you when your employers attempt to foist your lame personality on the viewing public.

Athletes and former athletes by about as much of my interest in something as tv personalities or other pop stars, ZERO! As for A-rod or the Astros, waiting for the ban… no more baseball, no HOF for you.

Bonds and Rodriguez are both products of a generation and sports mindset that thought they could use anything and everything to gain an advantage in their sport. But their coaches, their trainers, their agents, even the team itself share partial responsibility for creating this performance-enhancement, win-at-all-costs culture in sports.

Many sports fans share some of that blame for cheering them on and condoning their use of drugs to maintain a competitive edge, while condemning the very same actions and misbehavior in their opponents. Talk about hypocrites!

Thankful that the Red Sox didn’t get him. Bad enough that I have to watch the cheater on Sunday Night Baseball. Maybe this time off will cause all involved in major league sports to reflect on what is really important.

The way ESPN and MLB keep him around (along with the weak testing program) shows that the noise over Astros & Red Sox is phony.
