Spud has some seriously quirky aspirations. On a side note, he doesn’t look that different with the shaved head. Now he just needs to gauge his ears and get a few tattoos and he might actually approach a cool factor.

Spud: “Not if I have to share the bubble! It’s bubble boy, not bubble boy and lice!”

As I recall, the worst about having a classmate with lice was that we had to put our coats into individual garbage bags and THEN put them on the coat pegs.

When you are in 1st/2nd grade and it’s cold outside and you have 3 recesses a day, that gets a bit tiresome.

Probably, one of the ones with lice is Amelia.

I like how Mrs. MacIntosh is peering around the opening.

I love that the wheels on the cart squeak.

Amelia with her tongue hanging out looks like she is ready to barf.

He’s been watching Monster’s, Inc.

I see the girl in the middle with the giant pigtails has almost the same color hair as Spud.

Y’know, I wouldn’t have noticed that Spud was shaved bald in panel 2 if he didn’t comment that he was.

I realize how that doesn’t sound all that flattering for Spud, but… :P

“ Alright Bubble Boy, let’s just play. Who invaded Spain in the 8th century?”

It would be so fitting if Amelia has head lice.

In 4th grade, I was wheeled out in a containment unit. Bad case of cooties.

Spud hasn’t got much hair to start with.

I suddenly realize that this might be a homage to Monsters, Inc.

I’ve had lice 3 times, and I can tell you that it is not enjoyable.

On a side note they did a lice check on my entire school the first time I had it because of me and my brother both having it.

“The lice”? Not just “lice”?
