my favorite from my wife who speaks english as a second language (and has a terrible teacher): kiss your a$$ and goodbye. at first i tried correcting her, but her version kinda grew on me…

I thought maybe “kill two rats with one stick” was the literal English translation of the German idiom, but the German idiom seems to be “kill two flies with one swat” (“zwei Fliegen mit einer Klappe schlagen”), so I’ve learned something new and also remain confused as to where the rats and the stick came from :D
