Peppermint Patty asks, "Was 'Lambcake' such a bad thing to be called, Marcie?"<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty continues, "What about noodleneck or cementhead? People call each other lots of strange things without being really serious . . ."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty says, "You should think about that, Marcie." Marcie says, "I will."<BR><BR> Marcie continues, "Good night, noodleneck!"<BR><BR>

True, people may call one another strange names, for no reason, though not to be hurftul, but, such “playfulness” just was not Marcie’s style. At least not with Floyd, BUT, when it came to her BEST FRIEND, well, that was different(as she even takes Peppermint Patty up on her advice, in Panel 4, of course.)
