Sort of reminds me of the concierge cats I sometimes run into delivering food. They meet me at the curb and walk with me to the front door, just to make sure I get to the right house.
I wish I could nap, but I can not sleep during the day, at all. Never could, even when I was a kid. When I was pregnant, everyone promised me that, after the baby arrived, I’d nap. That “baby” is now 16 years old, and I STILL can’t nap.
I can’t take a nap with my cat for 2 reasons. He keeps moving closer as he kneads the blanket until those claws find me and he suckles/drools on the blankets. Eww!
As soon as the theme song for the closing of the late news comes on up he jumps. “Come on time for bed”. Then he starts marching down the hallway towards the bedroom. And boy does he get ticked if I want to stay up and watch something else.

Sounds good to me. I used to love taking afternoon naps with my darling Macushla.

catnap, siesta, whatever it’s called…that time where you recharge the batteries a little!

Cats do not give invitations. They make demands.

I love catnaps in the afternoons. Nothing makes you more fresh for the remaining half of the day.

Petey and I take catnaps, quite a bit. I always feel better and I’m sure Petey does too.
