I just love how the Baby’s first birthday is treated like a big celebrity party or something. But I guess we shouldn’t be surprised; this is Elvis’s Baby, after all. She only deserves the best!
today is my birthday, but a miserable one. Last night I was struck in my own parking lot by a drugged out non licensed 16 yr old. He backed out of the slot going at least 40-50 kph. Hit me while I walking my pug, I was dragged 20 ft at least. Road rash all down my left arm, both knees and a 3 point break on the wrist which is probably going to be operated on. The pug didn’t get hit at all. I didn’t hear him coming from my right as I can’t hear on that side.
M went in for a second surgery yesterday. Everything looked clean but she’s not doing well this morning. She needed another blood transfusion, her lungs are filling with fluid, & her abdomen is distended. She goes in for another CT scan this afternoon…
I get the impression it’s a day-to-day thing with K. She had a rough night last night but the nurses are doing everything they can to keep her comfortable. Family has gathered to support her & her daughter…
Meanwhile I’m out of town for the next 3 weeks, trying desperately not to fret…

All good Boys know that there are bound to be fantastic cat toys out of this celebration – crumpled paper, ribbons, bows … and maybe impossibly tiny boxes!
Oh my gosh, she has on a lovely yellow gown and oven mitts. You can’t get more fashionable that that. I’m sure everyone will be looking for a yellow gown with oven mitts this autumn. Puck is so cute.
