Isn’t that rodent under 5 feet of snow today?

Great deal for anyone snowed under. Too bad there’s none in Seattle though.

Not that you wanted to be shoveling more snow anyways, Red.

So, if that rodent is indeed under 5 feet of snow, he can’t see his shadow, right?

It was just announced that there will be an early spring in GA too.

I think Red’s only concern is how many snow days may be coming his way. :)

Either Brian consulted with Phil before doing this strip, or he is a prognosticator in his own right!

And it is true, Phil did not see his shadow, just a group of crazy adults acting like fools in Punxsutawny, PA.

Ashburn I am familiar with Gus, the second most famous groundhog in PA! :-D

Red is right about Phil, but the snow shovels wouldn’t be on sale – they were all sold out yesterday in anticipation of the coming blizzard! But at least Red would get a snow day today!!

I think whether the ground hog sees his shadow or not we STILL have Six more weeks of this dreaded winter!

Feb. 2 is a “cross quarter day”, meaning that it is 6 weeks to March 21, the 1st day of spring. So no matter how you figure it, spring starts on March 21.

I remember a year in which we had a snowstorm in May, which broke many tree branches and generally made a big mess.

Send those to Chicago we need them!!

If true spring comes, I will need to change my feather’s sooner.
