I used to teach at a community college. I’d tell the students that the end of semester euphoria was not restricted to their side of the desk.
I worked at a university – staff was always super happy at the end of a semester (at least for a few days) we had our staff parking lots back.
TO ALL TEACHER’S EVERYWHERE: Thanks for all you do for our children every day. Take some time off this summer for yourselves. And know that some of us realize what you contribute to our children’s well-being.
Without the martinis, of course.
