Ever see two white guys meet on the street greeting: “What’s up, Honkie”?? While “cultural insults” may indeed reflect on “He’s my brother, I can call him anything I want.”– it does seem the “sub -culture” of self flagellation and insult- is greater here than in others. Part of success is at least an attitude of “I like myself”, even if not “I love myself”. What happens if a culture is brought up to hate itself, and where did that come from???
“Victimhood” is also powerful, and seen in many cultures as well- often as a source of pride– so what goes on there?

We would be better served by free speech no matter how offensive. Opposing views are sorely missing.
