    Our sheltie would frustrate me like that. I would wait patiently, then he wouldn’t go, and we would repeat the procedure at the next yard. (“That one just wasn’t my style.”)

    Typical irresponsible child letting him go up onto the lawns. When we walk our dogs they are only allowed on the street side of the sidewalk. Wonder if Red has any doottie bags with him?

    The fresh cut grass smell is obviously better than the scent he wants to replace. Like putting on cologne and perfume.

    My dog looks almost exactly like that and does the same thing. But they are no dummies; they know once they “do their business” the walk ends!
