Actually, I think that’d be a great idea. It is rather annoying having to wait for the server to walk by or bother another server. Some restaurants in Asia have a call buttons at each table kind of like airlines have them for flight attendants.

I just heard an NPR story (forget which day this week it was) that there are restaurants that are actually doing this and they are using some sort of service to facilitate it.
