Unless you were expecting her to fall immediately after the song stated “head over feet”, then yes, it would be ironic.

Why are you alway linking the Annie strip in Foxtrot?

Have you seen that viral video of the woman who was texting while walking out of a department store and right into the mall fountain?

I saw her this morning on TV being interviewed, in tears about her humiliation. So going on TV will reduce the humilitation? But she said she plans to sue everyone responsible!! Look, lady, how many times are you going to make a fool of yourself?

stevebergen, I agree. davidf42, if we want to see Annie we know where to find that strip. You’re posting the link in multiple comments sections everyday qualifies as troll behavior. I’m sure Steve and I are not the only two people that are very tired of seeing the Annie link multiple times every day. Please stop.

Great song, great singer. (OK, not Aretha, but she’s still pretty good.) No actual examples of irony in “Isn’t it ironic” (it’s all just bad luck, like rain on your wedding day), but it’s still a fun song to sing.
