January is a good month in Portland, OR. The chance of a freeze or snow is almost zero and fewer heavy rains.
I hear it’s an even better month in Hawaii.
Pretty sweet in Florida, too.
When I lived up north (and out west, too), the snow was SO beautiful from November to New year’s. Then, for some unfathomable reason, snowfalls from New Year’s to April 1st were depressing as hell. . .
I agree that’s why I move South watch all the snow I want on TV
