Petey; did you ever consider the possibility that YOU are a Figment of Ernesto’s imagination??

So’s mine, Petey. In mine I have a wife, kids, grandkids, work and military history, a car, a truck, a boat, a yo-yo, a cat, and a sandwich.

I wonder if Petey ever considered that he, Petey, was the imaginary one and Ernesto is real?

I’ll bet that Ernesto does not play a rusty trombone, even though he is a tromboner.

This is my favorite Ernesto strip. There are many good ones, but I think this is the best.

Most of my friends are imaginary. But, they’re usually too busy to drop by.

I’m imagining I’m reading a comic strip!
