Actually, as someone born and raised in ‘the Burgh’ (and now living in exile in a warmer but windier state), I know that Rob Roger’s comment is not just for those of us who are Jewish, but for the population of the city itself. All pulled together. Churches have had worship services around this tragedy; children worshiping at a Sikh Temple went to Tree of Life to stand with them; the GoFundMe page to help the victims families was started by a Muslim. I am proud of Pittsburgh, and I thank today’s version of Mr. Rogers for remembering the real neighborhood of Fred Rogers…

As Mr. Rogers always said it tines of crisis, look for the helpers.

Sun. Nov. 4: Stupid daylight saving time goes away. More nuisance. More hassle. More inconvenience. More confused appointments. Why? Why do we do this to ourselves?

Coming together. What an Atheist can stand with those others at least in empathy.

City of Champions.. used to be on a sign as you approached the city I live in.. until the owner (who turned out to be a crook) sold our star hockey player to the highest bidder..
