Caulfield says, "What's this?" Frazz says, "Holiday lights." Caulfield says, "You sure they're not Christmas lights?" Frazz says, "Okay. They're Christmas lights." Caulfield says, "Ooh! What if that offends me?" Frazz says, "You were just singing 'greasy grimy gopher guts' with your mouth full." Caulfield says, "That means I'm not offended?" Frazz says, "It means you're not offendable."

People misunderstand what offends people. It isn’t the lights and such. It is the assumption that the “season” is owned by Christians. Or that you can only say, “Merry Christmas”, otherwise you are a, “snowflake”. Many different religions have their Holy Days around the same time of year, and not everyone is Christian. Saying, “Happy Holidays” isn’t an attempt to offend Christians, but an attempt to not assume that someone is Christian when they may not be.
