Well, aside from Liz and Garfield I thought Jon was a cartoonist, although he hasn’t been shown working in a very, very long time. Sort of like Odie’s owner, Lyman.

This one looks like a good one for Garfield Minus Garfield.

To herbthiel: Yes … Jon was originally a cartoonist in the strip, but I believe that was dropped years ago so that Jon could focus on keeping Garfield in line. A job and a half, I know.

I’m also curious what happened to Lyman from the early days. Seeing him again would be interesting.

I still think that getting rid of Garfield would be the first step in your becoming something, Jon. You deserve to be something more than staff for a cat.
