As an ex-U.S. Navy sailor, head out to sea for 20 plus miles from land. You get away from all that civilized light pollution. There are no night-time biting bugs. And most of all…..The VIEW of the sky and the stars is fantastic!!!
I had the awesome pleasure of seeing a shooting star on my way to NYC…of all places. There it was…witnessed on the NJ Turpike. My husband and I yelled, “Did you see that!!”? Anything is possible when the sky overhead is clear, even in Jersey on the way to NYC. <3
