reminds me of when I was a kid on my first overnight camp and the camp councilor told us a story about a person who’s hand got cut off and sometime in the middle of the night you could hear it dragging itself looking for its owner: thump drag, thump drag, thump drag as it came out in the middle of the night.
I did not sleep much that night, kept hearing thump drag, thump drag….
