Yes. I have heard the echo from a single peal of Thunder echo for over a full minute from the various hillsides around where I live. Sometimes the sound will travel in a full circle around the valley!
Overhead the albatross
Hangs motionless upon the air

In labyrinths of coral caves
The echo of a distant time
Comes willowing across the sand
