I wonder if Elvis realizes that Lupin and Puck watch him when he sleeps with his eyes open?

Puck’s got a “Jaws” yawn going there.

So what are the emergency procedures for threat-level cuteness? I’ve never had to worry about it myself; none of my cats have been the snoring type. Blossom does occasionally sleep talk, though.

And jeez, Pucky, just when I thought your mouth couldn’t get any bigger…

Several of our “kids” snore and bunny rabbit kick in their sleep,,,.so cute to watch Cheetoe in his sleep..he looks so innocent,.he’s so like Shreiks….Puss In Boots..all sweetness..then kapow…..total fiesty

I’ve never seen a cat Velcro sleep like that before.

Maybe Puck can whip up a Threat Level cuteness chart for us once he wakes up.

I’m gonna need a chart of the different cuteness threat levels!

Snoring cats aren’t always cute.

I can take cupcake level. But if it keeps rising, I’m not sure I’ll be able to handle it.

Clearly Cuteness Threat Levels (CTL) need to be defined. The world needs this.

Pucky laying flat with limbs and tail jutting out, instead of tucked neatly under him, gives the impression that he collapsed mid-stride in to a nap.

I don’t know, Cupcakes always look so inviting, but they are often disappointing. Well except for the ones we had yesterday. But that’s different.

We’ve had three cats, out of our clowder, who snored. Total nuclear meltdown cuteness attacks!!! I had a friend who doesn’t really like cats melt into a pile of protoplasmic goo when Marmite fell asleep on my lap and his head slid off my leg and he started the whizz-burr-hum snore!!!

We had a female cat who snored loudly enough to be heard through the heating ducts. Didn’t really go with her glamorous good looks.

It’s even cuter with two of ’em snoring in synchronisation… ;-)

bogart snores sometimes, with his little white chin sticking up toward the ceiling. threat level: melt.

I had a deaf cat, it was OK she didn’t know she was deaf, and she would go into such a deep sleep. On her back, all 4 paws going and me having no idea what she was dreaming. She could snore something fierce and it shook the whole house. I miss her dearly.

I’ve had cats that snored but would always wake themselves up, look around, and go back to sleep. Vlad doesn’t go into that deep of sleep for him to snore. Neither does Sebastian.

Oh no! Now he’s bunny kicking, in his sleep! The cuteness has now reached threat level cupcake with whip cream and a cherry on top! Set all phones to record and take cover!

Cuteness Threat Level Cupcake is a precious concept – best thing I’ve ever heard in a long time. It’s going into my vocabulary permanently.

My Chi-Chi (the guy in my picture) snores all the time. He’s pretty loud too! And thank catness that it wasn’t Elvis sleeping instead of Puck. Elvis’ (or is it s’s - no need to discuss that) eyes would be wide open and would still be a freaky sight to see. But that’s just me. :-)

My girl KK snores just a little dainty snore but it’s all hers. At night when all is quiet I have to remind myself I gave a snoring cat that hides herself under the bed and in the closet. No it is not the boogeyman.

I was awakened one night about 3am by my tabby Trouble whistle-snoring in my ear. The problem with that was it made me aware that she had left my bedroom door open and I could hear the rest of the house. My boyfriend (now husband) was asleep across the hall in the guest bedroom, doing what sounded like his level best to decimate a forest with a chainsaw. From the other side of the house it sounded like mom and dad were running the sawmill for the lumber. I didn’t get much sleep after that…

Don’t get me wrong. Puck is absolutely wonderful. Beatrix smokes him at cuteness .

That was me this morning after three days’ attendance at Motor City Comic Con. I’m getting too old for these things! And I probably made more noise than Pucky did.

I had a cat named Garbo that would sleep facedown and look like she was hungover. She cracked me up. Never had loud snoring cats – purr snoring… sort of… it was cute.

One of my dogs runs in his sleep. I like to think he is chasing the deer on the property. He does the whiney thing, and I pet him and he calms down. The whines get me.

Lady Kat! SheMc! Everyone needing boops! I pray your silence means you’re with family and friends.

(the scene opens in a dark bedroom…two people are sleeping in the bed, 2 (or possibly 3) cats are dispersed about the room, and there’s a dog in the hall) Woman: “Hmmmmph….what is it?” Man: “I can’t figure out where the snoring is coming from. Everytime I get just about asleep, one of the animals starts to snore and wake me up.” Woman: “Pretty sure you’re waking yourself up with your own snores.” Man: “That’s ridiculous!” (Man rolls over, falls asleep, begins to snore. Both (or 3) cats leave the room, dog goes back downstairs, woman grabs pillow and heads off to sleep in the family room.)
