How can you maintain absolute control if an external, professional investigative agency does not corroborate your every word? They must be perceived as disloyal, biased and untrustworthy … maybe the house intel committee can help?

The House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes’ dispute with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray seemed to de-escalate after Nunes was given access to the document that kicked off the FBI’s investigation into the Trump campaign and Russia. Ousting Rosenstein would create a firestorm, whether one feels it is right or wrong to do, the firestorm it would create makes it a non-starter. Manafort’s civil suit against Mueller, DOJ and Rosenstein have been dismissed outright and Trump’s allies don’t really have a path to impeach Rosenstein.

Another cartoon Trump Disciples won’t get.

Isn’t “House Intelligence” an oxymoron, like “Jumbo Shrimp”, “Honest Politics”, “Compassionate Conservative”, “Genuine Plastic”, “Planned Accident”, and “Military Intelligence”??

Trump believes that it’s “his ball and his stadium” so he makes all the rules.

Nunes, House Intelligence, what a joke that is.

Reminds me of the House Committee for UnAmerican Activities. Its Chair went to prison for fraud.

Has anyone else noticed that, at least as far as the Republican contingent of this committee is concerned, the name of the committee has turned into an “oxymoron”?
