I am curious as to what an average ticket to a Red Sox game in Fenway Park costs ? When I was a kid, I think the box seats ran about $6, the grandstands about $4 and the bleacher seats ( where the most knowledgeable baseball fans I ever met, sat ) were $2. Last few times I went to a live major league game ( other than spring training ), I had “comp” tickets to the Rays ( incl. parking ) and it still cost me a small fortune at the concession stands for me, my daughter and grandson.

How about shortening the season? With 160 games do the first 60 or 70 really matter?

Let them schedule as many games as they wish, but do not start or make up any game where the temperature is below 50 F of 10 C at game time.

Also should not start any game where the humidity exceeds 99%.
