I remember growing up as a little kid seeing, and patronizing, the ones in Sunnyvale, CA. I saw one last week when I went down there to visit some friends. Santa Clara County has some good libraries, both city libraries and the County library system and some cities have bookmobiles and I know of two that also have those little neighborhood free libraries.

I had a book mobile once. Hung it from the ceiling and watched it slowly rotate as I fell asleep at night.

I’ve heard about bookmobiles. It visited the town that my grandparents lived in. It would be nice if they restarted.
