This is my Grandfather. When he was a teenager his father took him to a restaurant; LeRoy ate dinner and then asked his dad for a second meal. When he had finished that he said he was still hungry, so they went someplace else because the old man was embarrassed. When he was in WWI he would race to be first in line at the mess tent, and then go out and be the last in line. When he came home, the grocer asked my grandmother if she had opened a boarding house!
